January Updates at Newsletter2Go
New Shop Plug-ins and Data Protection Updates according to the GDPR
With all the changes and resolutions that come with the start of a new year, we’re especially motivated to make our software even more customer-friendly in 2018. To get things rolling, we’re excited to announce new releases in January that will make it even easier for you to use Newsletter2Go.
The new order processing contract that meets the new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements is currently top of mind. To make the transition to this new data protection regulation as easy as possible, you can now complete the order processing contract online. We’re also happy to introduce our new shop plug-ins, which allow you to activate conversion tracking with just one click.
GDPR Order Processing Contract with Newsletter2Go
The GDPR will come into force on May 25, 2018, bringing many changes. One of these changes is the new contract for order processing, which will affect all persons and companies that process personal data. To avoid complications and help you prepare for the regulation changeover in May, you can already view and sign this new order processing contract (Article 28 GDPR) in your Newsletter2Go account under Privacy (Data Protection). It’s no longer necessary to sign this contract by hand; you can simply download the new order processing contract as a PDF, read it, and then fill out and accept it via our online form. You can then download the completed contract for your records.
Conversion Tracking in Just Two Steps!
With our new plug-ins, the conversion tracking for Modified, Oxid, Shopware, and Prestashop now works in just two easy steps.
Important: You don’t have to worry about deleting old plug-ins. The new plug-ins can be found in your Newsletter2Go account under Integrations. Follow our step-by-step instructions to integrate the new plug-ins into your online shop to ensure that the installation is error-free. Finally, before you send your newsletter, activate the conversion tracking: Submit → Edit Tracking Options → Conversion Rate. We are working hard to connect more shops with new plug-ins.
