Chat Support Is Live | What’s New in July at Newsletter2Go


Berlin experienced a record-breaking heatwave in June, but that didn’t stop us from being productive. We’ve made some exciting new changes to our software this month.

Learn all about our new chat feature, which offers an additional way to get in touch with support, and our campaign archive feature.

Showcase Your Mailings With the Campaign Archive

Meet the new archive feature!

Now there’s a new way to showcase the beautiful email campaigns and newsletters you create.

You now have access to a page that shows all previous mailings in a tiled format. Website visitors can click on individual mailings to view them in full.

This can be a great way to encourage potential subscribers to sign up for your email list. Embed a link to your archive in your sign-up form. Future subscribers can browse through your previous mailings so they can know exactly what they’ll be signing up for.

To set up your archive, go to Reports.

On the upper right, you’ll see an archive button. Click this and a pop-up will appear. In this pop-up, you’ll be prompted to make your archive public. Here you can get the link to your hosted archive by clicking on the View button. A javascript snippet will also appear. Use this snippet to embed the archive directly in your website.


Your archive displays all sent campaigns. But you have the option to exclude individual sent mailings if you wish.

You can exclude an individual campaign in the settings of individual mailings. From the Reports tab, click into the individual report of a campaign. Select the blue drop-down button on the top right, Reports as PDF.

From here you can toggle the public web version on and off.


Contact Our Support Team via Chat

Previously we had only two options for contacting support. All users had the option to use email to contact support, and users in the Standard and Pro Plans had the additional option of phone support.

Now we’ve added a new chat tool so Standard and Pro customers have yet another option for contacting support.

Our customer care agents are available from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. CET to answer any of your questions. In particular, if there’s a quick question you can’t find an answer to in the Help Articles, don’t hesitate to reach out via chat. To initiate the chat function, click on the blue button that’s visible on the bottom right of your screen at all times. In the pop-up that comes up, select the chat button.


Drag and Drop Images to Import and More

We’ve made a minor tweak to how the editor handles images. Some of you might not even notice it, but it should make your life easier.

Now, any time you want to upload new images to your media library, you can simply drag and drop one or more images into the editor. The media library will pop up atuomatically, so you can import the images and return to editing your email campaign.

We’ve implemented another small backend tweak for links. Now all links that are entered without “http://” will automatically receive the correct prefix. This means links will function flawlessly in all email clients.

A third and final point, which will be interesting for those with customers in Germany, is that we now have a partnership with trustedDialogue (link in German) that allows us to offer inbox visibility packages.
